Accounting Account Manager

About the position

Job Overview:

We are seeking two skilled Accounting Account Managers to join our team in Pretoria East. The ideal candidates will have an accounting degree and experience in managing client portfolios, ensuring financial compliance, and providing expert financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored financial solutions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax calculations.
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure clients adhere to accounting and tax regulations (SARS, VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements).
• Advisory Services: Provide strategic financial advice to help clients optimize their business operations.
• Reconciliations & Audits: Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll, and internal audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems and workflows.

Requirements:

? Degree in Accounting or a related field (BCom Accounting preferred).
? Experience in client accounting/account management within an accounting or financial services firm.
? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
? Afrikaans-speaking is essential (must be able to communicate fluently).
? Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
