Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements while supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Pastel Accounting.
- Experience using MIST Systems (Optimus) advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
