We Are Hiring: Senior Accountant in Gauteng



Job Title: Accountant
Location: JHB - Southern Suburbs
Type: Permanent
Seniority Level: Level - Senior (+5 yrs)
Report to: Dino Theodorou

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Receipting and allocation of payments
• Tenant and owner account reconciliations
• General ledger reconciliations
• Managing daily cash flow and understanding the movement of funds
• Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies
• Processing journals and financial adjustments
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve finance-related queries
• Identifying inefficiencies and implementing improved financial processes

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification (Degree, Diploma, SAIPA, CIMA, or similar)
• If you understand how money flows through a business, enjoy solving financial problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.
• Ability to identify the root cause of financial discrepancies
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Professional, trustworthy, and accountable
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
