Company and Job Description:
A forward-thinking, multinational organisation is looking for a driven Accountant to support and enhance its financial operations. This role offers excellent exposure to core accounting functions, compliance, and reporting across international structures, providing a strong foundation for growth within a commercial environment. You will work closely with the Financial Manager and gain hands-on experience across key finance processes within a global business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting processes and financial planning activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and assist with financial reporting requirements
- Conduct tax compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
- Assist with VAT submissions and related processes
- Analyse foreign exchange movements and report on variances
- Co-ordinate and support external audit processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed SAICA articles or CA(SA) qualification
- 3 years’ audit firm experience
- Essential: Proven exposure to a multinational environment
- Exposure to a commercial environment is advantageous
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
