We are partnering with a reputable company in the logistics and distribution space that is looking to appoint a proactive and analytical Accountant. What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be closely involved in the financial performance of logistics operations, with a strong focus on cost management and profitability. You’ll partner with operational teams to ensure financial data supports practical, on-the-ground decisions.
Key duties include:

• Analysing route and operational profitability
• Assisting with budgeting processes and financial forecasting
• Tracking and evaluating distribution and transport expenses
• Compiling monthly financial and management reports
• Ensuring accuracy through reconciliation of financial and operational data
• Working alongside operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Contributing to month-end and year-end reporting cycles
• Maintaining adherence to financial controls and accounting best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Completed articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA)
• BCom degree in Accounting or a related field
• Approximately 1–2 years of post-articles experience (preferred)
• Strong numerical and analytical thinking
• Advanced Excel capabilities
• Detail-focused with solid problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
