Accountant

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A rapidly expanding FinTech company is seeking a qualified Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, along with proven experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and broader finance team, contributing to financial operations across multiple legal entities.

DUTIES:

• Monthly and weekly management account reporting.
• Production of monthly bordereaux to insurers.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reviewing and approving invoices.
• Processing and paying supplier invoices.
• Daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes.
• Preparation of annual budgets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with Xero accounting software (QuickBooks experience also advantageous).
