Accountant
Salary: Negotiable up to R50000 p/m
Area: Germiston. Gauteng
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, compliance, and reporting, with a strong ability to lead and support the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including timely submission of returns.
• Support audits and other financial reporting requirements.
• Manage intercompany loan accounts and transactions across our group of companies.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare intercompany invoices and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Lead and mentor team members within the accounting department.
• Perform other duties as required in line with the position.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA) will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Clear credit and criminal record checks.
• Verification of highest level of education.
• Valid professional references.
