About the position

• South African Expat position based in Nairobi (Kenya)
• Member of UIEA leadership team mandated with the full operational financial function of the region:
• Kenya
• Tanzania/Zanzibar
• Uganda
• Rwanda
• Compliance with group finance objectives and translating into operational business processes.
• Responsible for performing the full financial review and analysis of quarterly results.
• Presentation of results for feedback, analysis, and recommendations of strategic initiatives to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Leverage BI team to deliver ongoing support on segmentation/ competitive analysis.
• Identify key performance metrics and implement dashboard monitoring, including corrective action improvements.
• Action plans for financial and risk management and ensure strategic alignment.
• Analyse financial performance and provide solutions for improvements and project analysis requests.
• Interpret financial data, adjust forecasts, align critical drivers and reporting.
• Financial modelling
• Cross functional engagement, preparation, design and influence of the Annual Operating Plan and mid-year forecast process.
• Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Revenue calculations, cash flow forecasting and CAPEX budgets.
• Ownership of all Revenue authority queries
• Management of the procurement process and team
• Oversight of the warehouse and operations process and team
• Review internal controls.
• Manage a team.

• SAIPA

• More than 10 years

Desired Accreditations:

• Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
• South African Institute of Chartered Accountant
• South African Institute of Professional Accountant
