Accountant (IFRS)

About the position

Well established company in JHB North seeks an Accountant with strong IFRS (full version) experience
Minimum Requirements

• BCom - Accounting / Finance / CIMA / CTA. Honours advantageous 
• Three years of article training preferred.
• 2-4 years commercial experience (post articles).
• Deadline-driven, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict timelines.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.
• Regulatory background with the ability to review and prepare Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS (full version) and local regulations.
• In-depth tax knowledge.
• Advanced excel skills.

Duties will include 

• Cash Management (Cashflow Forecasting, Payment authorisation).
• Financial Reporting (Management Accounts and additional financial reports to assist with decision making).
• Work closely with the operational finance team.
• Manage the annual audit for all companies within the group.
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for the group.
• Tax management (Preparation, review and authorisation of all SARS related taxes).
• Stakeholder management.
