About the position
A leading, high-growth manufacturing business is seeking an accomplished Accountant CA(SA), in Manufacturing, to join its well-seasoned Finance Team.
This role is ideal for a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Manufacturing who is eager to contribute to a competitive, fast-moving organisation with strong market presence.
- Handle full daily accounting functions including processing, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with IFRS
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including trial balance preparation and reporting
- Coordinate audit preparations, compile supporting schedules, and respond to auditor queries
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Manage fixed asset register, process depreciation, and account for additions/disposals
- Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions and costing (manufacturing environment)
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal financial policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as required
