Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper

Location: Menlyn, Pretoria

Remuneration: Monthly salary from R30K - R50K negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Produce accurate final accounts.
• Perform daily cash ups and point-of-sale reconciliations for multiple branches.
• Monitor multi-inventory valuations, stock movements, and cost of sales metrics.
• Process supplier invoices and reconcile trade creditor ledger accounts.
• Review and clean general ledger entries to ensure correct cost allocations.
• Submit monthly VAT and payroll statutory returns to SARS on time.What You Need to Apply (Qualifications & Experience)

• A completed Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting or a similar relevant Accounting Diploma.
• Proven experience producing full trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Previous experience dealing with consolidating branches to head office would be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in modern cloud-based accounting packages and point-of-sale software integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for investigating stock and cost variances.
• A highly disciplined work ethic, exceptional time management, and clear communication skills.
