Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full month-end processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with weekly & month-end bank payments and cashbook processing.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and reports.
• Purchase card management, reconciliation & processing for the group.
• Assist with weekly review & reports of the financial position of the group.
• Any ad-hoc financial tasks as required by the financial supervisor.
• Statutory compliance and reports - experience advantageous.
• Experience working with various entities in a group.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced department and group of companies.
• Corporate culture that encouraged working as a team, accountability and process ownership.
• Preparing the various financial accounts for assets, liabilities and capital
• Documenting transactions accurately.
• Preparing the various financial accounts for assets, liabilities and capital.
• In-depth knowledge of Mathematics and Finance.
• Resolving queries.

Preferred Qualification(s): Qualified SAIPA Accountant.

Work Experience Required: 0-3 years post-articles.
