About the position

DBN000221 – Accountant - 6 Month Maternity Cover – Kloof

Purpose of the Job:
Maintain and record financial transactions for the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in administrative and accounting roles
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
  • Proficient in Excel

Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts; maintain QuickBooks and support management reporting.
  • Manage invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare VAT, PAYE, and support annual financial statements.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and debtor factoring.
  • Maintain company assets, contracts, and coordinate travel arrangements.
