Account Manager - Water Treatment Chemicals - Port Elizabeth

About the position

A well-known water treatment requires the above to Service and grow an existing portfolio of Key Accounts within various industries in the Eastern Cape supplying Water Treatment Chemicals for Boilers and Cooling water.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• Previous experience having worked within the water treatment on Boilers and Cooling Water is essential for the role.
• Technical knowledge of water treatment processes, chemistry, and equipment (boiler, cooling, reverse osmosis, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing an existing portfolio of Key Accounts within the Food and Beverage, Automotive and various other industries treating cooling water and boilers.
• Ensuring that the sales budget for the assigned area are achieved.
• Supplying monthly area reports on customer visits and presenting these to management.
• Servicing and monitoring existing applications and projects within the water treatment markets.
• Preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
• Driving growth by continuously focusing on creating and delivering customer value, leveraging the company’s competitive advantage and product portfolio.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
