About the position
Drive sales growth by managing existing client accounts and securing new business through external client interaction and internal sales execution. Responsible for revenue generation, relationship management, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- 2 to 5 years proven sales or account management experience within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
- Demonstrated experience in both external and internal sales functions
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Key Performance Areas
- Manage and develop existing client relationships to drive repeat business and retention
- Conduct regular client visits to identify operational needs and sales opportunities
- Generate new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow through on sales cycles internally
- Identify and drive upselling, cross-selling, and value-added product opportunities
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment and service delivery
- Resolve client queries, pricing concerns, and service-related issues promptly
- Monitor client activity, sales performance, and market opportunities
- Support onboarding of new clients and provide product guidance where required
