In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting while nurturing strong client relationships and growing a portfolio of key accounts.

Our client is looking to employ an Account Executive based in Cape town



Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers
  • Develop and execute effective account growth plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer information in the CRM system
  • Support targeted sales campaigns across various industry verticals


Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or a similar role
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and new business development is highly advantageous
  • Exposure to IT, Technology, Telecommunications, SaaS, or B2B sales environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong research and personalized outreach capabilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and driven by achieving measurable results
  • Ability to confidently manage client engagements independently
