About the position
A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Acceptance and Compliance Technician
Qualifications:
- B-Tech Engineering in electrical, mechanical or similar, OR
- National Diploma Engineering in electrical, mechanical or similar
- N5 completed in electrical , mechanical or similar. AND
- Valid driver's license
- Hyster licence (advantageous)
Experience:
- BTech qualification coupled with 5 years experience in the engineering operations or construction environment, OR
- National Diploma coupled with 6 years experience,
- N5 coupled with 8 years experience
- Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings (electric and mechanical)
- Working understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system requirements.
Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) software or similar.
- Microsoft Office
- Work experience in an engineering plant or environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety
