Academic Module Guide Updater and Moderator - Financial Accounting and Financial Planning
We are seeking independent contractors with expertise in financial and business management, including concepts of financial reporting, financial statement analysis, managerial finance, and group financial statements and taxation. Candidates should also have knowledge of business ethics and practical experience in financial planning across personal and business contexts. The role includes responsibilities for moderating and guiding financial management and planning processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with professional standards
Duties & Responsibilities
CORE PURPOSE:
• The Module Guide Updater ensures content aligned to the module outcomes and associated assessment criteria as per the requirements provided by MANCOSA by updating the existing content to align to current industry standards.
• The Module Guide Moderator ensures content is aligned to the module outcomes and associated assessment criteria as per the requirements provided by MANCOSA.
CORE FUNCTIONS:

• The Module Guide Moderator ensures content is aligned to the module outcomes and associated assessment criteria as per the requirements provided by MANCOSA.
Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATION(S):
• A relevant Masters NQF Level 09 qualification (with extensive academic experience) or
• A relevant Honours or Postgraduate qualification (with extensive academic experience)
EXPERIENCE:
RELATED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
• Knowledge of the South African Higher Education Regulatory Framework
• Ability to work within pre-determined time frames and meet deadlines
• Excellent academic writing and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism in academic writing
• Proficient in the use of technological systems
• Possess a high level of ethics
• Knowledge of Blooms Taxonomy verbs and SAQA Level descriptors
