About the position
The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for delivering custom development across the SAP S/4HANA landscape as part of the ECC6 to S/4HANA (RISE Private Cloud) upgrade project. The role involves building and enhancing RICEFW objects, supporting integrations, and developing solutions aligned with SAP best practices and modern development standards such as ABAP on HANA, Fiori etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ hands-on experience as a SAP ABAP Developer.
- Must have completed at least three (3) full-cycle SAP implementation projects as an ABAP Developer.
- Proficient in developing custom solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Experience Skill:
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) and ABAP on HANA.
- Experience with OData services, SAP Fiori/UI5, and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, and BAPIs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Skilled in performance optimisation, unit testing, and debugging.
- Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud development tools is advantageous.
Certification:
Must hold at least one of the following SAP certifications:
- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP HANA
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP
Mandatory:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP ABAP Developer.
- Must have completed 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects in this role.
- Proven experience developing in S/4HANA environments, including RICEFW.
- Must hold at least one of the listed SAP Development Associate certifications.
