DEPARTMENT: Financial Management.
LOCATION: Cape Town.
Salary per annum: D2 - R636 607.00 per annum (basic salary).
Closing date: Wednesday, 28 June 2023 at 5PM.
To implement and maintain effective supply chain management systems and processes in compliance with PFMA & PPPFA and other procurement requirements and best practice in order to support the attainment of SAHRA mandate.

Bachelor degree/ B.Tech with specialisation in Finance or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, with a focus on the public sector and a minimum of 5 years management experience.
Knowledge and experience of the Public Finance Management Act, the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Treasury
Regulations and Supply Chain Management
Three-year articles as an accountant or CA(SA) qualification will be an added advantage.
Business Administration
Financial Management
Experience in ERP Systems (preferably ACCPAC or Pastel) is required
Ability to compile and analyse financial statements is an added advantage
Knowledge and understanding of financial management processes
Ability to reduce complex accounting data to succinct reports
Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines
Team Management, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Performance Monitoring, Coaching Skills, Relationship Management, Decision Making, Attention to Detail, Delegation, Honesty and Integrity, Problem solving, Monitoring and Controlling, Adaptability.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to interpret complex numerical information and perform high level calculations which involve discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume by using figures and financial information.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Three-year articles as an accountant or CA(SA) qualification will be an added advantage
A valid Code EB (08) driver's license
Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office in Excel, Word and Power Point and procurement ERP system is a prerequisite.
