Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 2.5 Ton Clamp Forklift Driver to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a clamp forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The driver will also ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

• Operate a 2.5-ton clamp forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products, including fragile and high-value items.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report discrepancies.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labelling, and organizing products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

 
Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF level 4 equivalent qualification.
• Must have clear criminal record.
• Valid 2.5-ton forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating a clamp forklift, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
