About the position
KWV a renowned South African brand and industry leader in the production of world-class wines, and other spirits has two vacancies for a Team Leader - Picker, based in Paarl.

Purpose:
The incumbent needs to ensure that the pickings, movement of stock from production areas, incoming stock from contract bottlers in the warehouse is actioned on time and in full. The incumbent needs to ensure the plan are executed and supervise & control all activities connected with effective handling, accurate quantity, time & condition so that the function operates at maximum efficiency. Liaise closely with immediate superior, and customer services team and relevant external parties. The incumbent will be required to work normal shift and night shift on a rotational basis and lead a normal shift team and a night shift team.
Minimum Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification or relevant post-Grade 12 training would be advantageous
- 2-3 years' supervisory experience
- 2-3 years of experience in an FMCG warehouse environment
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, SAP, MS Word)

Job Summary:
- Manage staff to accurately pick all orders on time and in full.
- Ensure the employees in his/her team adhere to the Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the weekly & monthly picking report is done and sent to the various stakeholders.
- Ensure checking of local and export orders is done as per procedure.
- Clear stock from production areas and place stock moved to warehouses on SAP.
- Housekeeping is maintained in all warehouses.
- Place requisitions for the department.
- Goods issue stock for rework and move stock to rework area on time.
- Ensure health and safety procedure are followed by all team members.
- Filing is done on a daily basis
- Minimise damaged to stock to eliminate or reduce the write offs of stock picked.
- Manage the cost of overtime worked permanent and temporary employees.
- Goods receipt invoices received from service providers on time.
- Enable employees to constantly strive to optimise and improve processes.
- 1 innovation per month.
- Ensure staff KPI`s are done and managed.
- Ensure employees are held accountable for their roles.
- Manage all temporary staff in Department. This will include planning when temporary employees are required and managing them.
