Manage and coordinate maintenance of infrastructure within area of expertise
JOB DESCRIPTION
 

• Manage availability, maintenance and safety of electrical infrastructure
• Tracking the movement of equipment.
• Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure.
• Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
• Input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset.
• Ensure and maintain safe and clean working environment (housekeeping).
• Ensure safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Monitor and manage quality of maintenance work.
• Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programmer and execution thereof.
• Execute routine inspections on infrastructure.
• Utilisation of enterprised asset management system.
• Participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreement.
• Provide input to and manage allocated budget.
