About the position

Our client, a prominent brand in the Eastern Cape is seeking to employ a experienced and astute Senior Sales Manager to their dynamic team.

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close secures.

This role is based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Good mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

 
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the internal and external sales team.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence.
  • Managing, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Resolve customer escalations when relevant Sales staff are not able to.
  • Present sales, revenue and all relevant identified reporting matrix and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Proactively communicate and manage non or poor performing categories / Reps to Director.
