We are seeking a dynamic Senior Presales Consultant/Solutions Engineer with a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
What you’ll do:
- Evangelize Automation for the Digital Business - Articulate the overall automation value proposition, integration potential, vision, and strategy to customers and partners.
- Differentiate and position Broadcom Automic technical product features, functions, and best practices via presentations, demonstrations, proof of concept, and health checks to influence customer purchase and renewal decisions.
- Engage with customers as a trusted advisor, understanding and documenting their challenges and requirements - both technical and business, and be able to develop an Enterprise Automation strategy based on them.
- Collaboratively develop and articulate an end-to-end solution, inclusive of consulting, professional services, and implementation design.
- Drive customer success by partnering with internal and external stakeholders including sales, product management, support, and partners.
- Consult with customers on product performance inclusive of sizing, tuning and configuration, and recommend solution best practices.
- Provide technical assistance to aid in closing complex and competitive opportunities by acting as the customer’s trusted technical advisor, using industry and competitive knowledge to help them develop a business case that includes the TCO and an ROI justification.
- Deliver product and technology briefings.
- Assist in the development of technical responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Assist in enabling sales teams on specific value propositions, competitive differentiation, and best practices to help them position Broadcom solutions.
Your expertise:
- 7+ years of successful technical systems experience in pre-sales/solution engineering or professional services within the Enterprise Automation domain.
- Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the Enterprise Automation practice and domain.
- Broad experience and understanding of industry standards, frameworks, and best practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Deep technical expertise across the following disciplines:
- Workflow (Process) Orchestration
- Scheduling (Batch/Job/Workload)
- Technical expertise related to Robotic Process Automation and DevOps
- Automation will be beneficial.
- Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and leaders in customer environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit for problem-solving.
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and develop strategic and tactical plans.
- Legal authorization to work within South Africa.
- Previous customer-facing experience as a Consultant, Solutions Architect,
- Solutions Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales Engineer.
- Professional and industry-related qualifications are highly desirable.
- Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal form to a variety of audiences in English.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based architecture and software deployment is a plus.
- Programming/scripting experience related to automation and integration and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.
- Able to work independently.
