About the position
Our client, based in Epping requires an efficient, effective, attention to detail individual to join their team at the Company Clinic.
The successful candidate should have sufficient understanding of all administrative procedures required to ensure the smooth operational running of the clinic.
Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Engage closely with Medical staff to plan, coordinate, and deliver quality healthcare services
- Schedule and diary management of nursing staff in terms of consultations with internal staff members for various Occupational & Primary Healthcare needs
- Maintain schedules of legislative medical requirements in terms of annual and periodic medicals for relevant staff members
- Complete and submit WCA/COIDA claim forms
- Maintain detailed records of, order and all medical supplies as well as medication
- Manage the reception area, welcome patients, taking/diverting calls, handle queries
- Liaise with external service providers ie. Optometrists, Pathology services, Specialists, hospitals, pharmacies, public clinics
- Multiple administrative tasks eg. typing referral letters, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and information on various office packages
- Devise and maintain office systems to efficiently deal with paper and process flow of the clinic
- Adhoc duties include filing, verifying time and attendance, drafting, verifying and editing Clinical documentation, processing of invoices on an in-house payment system, ordering stationary on in-house system
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Secretarial/Office Administration Certificate/Diploma
- 8 - 10 years experience in a Senior Administrator position
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
