About the position

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organised Individual with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction to join their team as a sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and recommending the most suitable solutions. Your expertise in concrete machinery, steel production, and yellow (earthmoving) equipment will be essential in building lasting relationships with customers.
Requirements and Skills:

  • Matric as a minimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or construction equipment industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete machinery, steel production, and earthmoving equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand clients’ requirements and propose tailored solutions.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.


  • Product Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of concrete manufacturing machines, steel production equipment, and earthmoving machinery.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and product features.

  • Articulate the benefits and advantages of our products to clients.

  • Sales and Business Development:


  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry segments.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Technical Consultation:
  • Assist clients in selecting the right equipment based on their project requirements.
  • Provide technical information, specifications, and pricing details.
  • Address any queries related to product functionality and performance.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts.
  • Close deals and ensure timely order processing.
  • After-Sales Support:
  • Coordinate with the service and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
  • Assist clients with warranty claims, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports for management.

Package:
Salary is market related depending on experience and qualifications.
