Project Manager - Subsea Drilling Equipment

About the position

Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication for the Oil & Gas/Off-Shore/Subsea sector, seeks to employ a Project Engineer, specifically with experience in subsea drilling equipment, to join their dynamic and progressive technical operations and projects team

Please note this role is geared toward candidates at a mid-level engineering career level, specifically with a background in fabrication and engineering solutions for the subsea/off-shore sector

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed a B-Tech or B Eng in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 3-5 years' experience as a Project Engineer in the subsea and subsea structural project engineering
• You will have a solid understanding of high-pressure piping, welding/NDT processes and structural fabrication projects
• You will have a proven track record in coordination of projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safety of all stakeholders, client satisfaction, quality of work within the time and budget.
• You will have demonstrated expert organisational and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and take ownership of projects to finalization.
• You will be flexible to travel extensively when required.
• You must have contactable references, a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
