About the role

As a Project Lead (MW Account Manager), your role is pivotal to the overall delivery to client. Positioned at the heart of the agency, you will take the lead on projects assigned to you by the Project Delivery Team Leader with the single aim of ensuring those projects are delivered on time, on budget and seamlessly.

Supported by the Studio Managers and leads of all the relevant studios, you will build your own project plans and budgets, and ensure that all the moving parts are working together according to plan. You will liaise with the creative team, and production team, to keep campaigns forging ahead. You will ensure that clients are kept in the loop and involved throughout the campaign / briefing process.

Because you will be working on individual projects rather than in an always on client servicing capacity, there will often be exciting opportunities to work across a portfolio of clients and stretch your learning into new categories and channels.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for the continued administration of the accounts to ensure that there is a good relationship between client and agency
  • Schedule and attend client meetings
  • Day to day running of the account and keep reports/briefs/timings up to date and all parties informed
  • Updating Client Status docs
  • Understand the role of media and mediums and able to review media proposals with the media department and clients
  • Review cost estimates with Ops, and presentations to clients
  • Work closely with the Account Director on budget control and management of billings
  • Quality control assurance
  • Provide support to Account Director and Digital Media, Data & SEO team
  • Keep abreast on competitor activity, reviewing and sharing amongst team
  • Keep abreast with new trends in digital technology in accordance with industry best practice

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management
  • Proficient in Office 365 (i.e., Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
  • Minimum 4 years working experience as an Account Manager in a Traditional Advertising Agency or Digital Advertising Agency or in a similar environment
  • Campaign Management Experience
  • Well versed in Digital
  • Experience using Workbook will be advantageous
  • A good command of the English language (both written and verbal)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong administrative skill
  • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on multiple briefs at any given time)
  • Strong presentation skills
