About the position

Our Client requires a skilled system administrator or analyst specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV). The role will report to senior members of the finance team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, customization, and optimization of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Eco-System, including SharePoint, Office Suite, and Power BI (highly advantageous)
  • Possession of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Certificate
  • Extensive Excel skills and ability to efficiently handle large data sets
  • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing systems
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
  • Eagerness and willingness to investigate and challenge information and actions when necessary and appropriate

Responsibilities include:

System Administration:

  • Supervising day-to-day administration and upkeep of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Implementation and Integration:

  • Leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring smooth deployment and integration with other software
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement custom modules and functionalities
  • Working closely with finance teams to generate and implement accurate reports
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of standard operating practices

User Support and Training:

  • Aiding end-users, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and conducting training sessions

Customization and Development:

  • Collaborating with developers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

Security and Access Management:

  • Enforcing and managing security protocols, including administering user roles and permissions to ensure compliance with security standards

Optimization and Performance Tuning:

  • Identifying and resolving any issues concerning system responsiveness and data integrity

Documentation:

  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and user manuals
