About the position

DEAL MAKER -

Medical forms part of the companies group which has been involved in the indirect tax industry for 20+ years servicing 50% of the Fortune 500 companies, with company servicing more than 1000+ clients into more than 200+ destinations globally.

Role overview
The company is looking for a commercially driven Deal Maker to sign deals with the biggestpharmaceutical companies in the world. The ideal candidate should be a professional who ishungry for growth and opportunity and is eager to build their own business. You will build a US dollar-based business in an international market (USA or Europe) in which you will have a % profit share. Initially meetings will be set up with prospective clients via video-conferencing apps (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
The role will then require international travel to your chosen region, to build your client relationships and help them make strategic decisions around the deployment of their medical equipment for clinical trials. Once you have built up your client base, you will have the option to move overseas or to continue to operate your business remotely in South Africa.
As a Deal Maker, you will be working directly under the Global Sales Director & CEO of the company Medical as well as building your own Sales and Operational Team within the medical clients.

  • Excellent High School and University Results
  • Professionals - CA's, Lawyers, Engineers, Actuaries, and MBA's.
  • At least 3 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience).
  • Experience in effectively managing a small to medium sized Team.
  • Understanding of and/or medical experience within the pharmaceutical industry isadvantageous.
  • Salary is market related and based on previous experienceInterview process
