Purpose Statement
As a Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving our online presence and maximizing sales through strategic marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and optimize conversion rates across various online platforms. Management of the design/content team to meet objectives is a fundamental element of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field;.
- Proven experience in eCommerce marketing, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing a Design/content team
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, and best practices.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), marketing automation platforms, and CMS platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and ROI.
Key Output
Developing Marketing Strategies:
- Create and implement effective marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including increasing online sales, customer acquisition/retention, and brand loyalty.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, affiliate marketing, and content marketing.
Customer Loyalty Programme Management:
- Implementation and coordination of the defined loyalty program by evaluating marketing tools and tactics for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers.
Content Creation:
- Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various digital channels, including website, blog, social media, and email campaigns, to attract and retain customers.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences, and use insights to refine marketing strategies.
SEO and SEM:
- Optimize website content and structure for search engines (SEO) to improve organic search visibility and manage paid search campaigns (SEM) to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
Social Media Management:
- Manage social media channels, create compelling content, engage with followers, and leverage social media advertising to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation, to nurture leads, drive conversions, and increase customer retention.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track marketing metrics, and analyse campaign performance to measure ROI and make data-driven decisions.
