Marketing and Communications Officer

About the position

Our client is looking for a Junior to intermediate, creative and talented Marketing and Communications person to handle all the companies marketing and public relations events and social media content across all channels.

Key duties

Candidate will work closely with the sales department and contribute by

• Managing, Creating and designing all social media posts, marketing campaigns in order to create a brand awareness.
• Planning and arranging all company functions from sales events, golf days and market days.
• Reviewing and analysing customer data and effectively strategiesing successful ways to increase brand awareness.
• Monitoring marketing and advertising budget and costs, assessing the return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns.
• Adhoc marketing and communication tasks and duties as and when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in relevant field such as marketing, public relations and communication
• Event planning and organising
• 2-5 year marketing experience
• Experience in social media marketing and content design
• Drivers license
• Preferrably bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
