About the position

Our Client, based in Epping requires an efficient, effective, attention to detail individual to join their team. The Group has a position available for an experienced, professional, and dedicated individual within the Cape Town, Epping Clinic as an Occupational Health Care Nurse. The successful 
candidate will report to the Head of Human Capital.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • 80% Occupational healthcare and 20% Primary healthcare.
  • Manage the administrative and operational activities of the primary health care and occupational health care clinic to ensure a quality, legally compliant, efficient, and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct and review health risk assessments annually or as required.
  • Perform and monitor medical and biological surveillance within the prescribed Company protocol.
  • Maintaining and assisting with the management of the Company chronic disease program.
  • Maintain statutory and internal company Covid-19 procedures and program.

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Nursing Diploma/Degree.
  • Occupational Health Nurse qualification recognized by South African Nurse Council.
  • PHC qualification/experience.
  • Spirometry, Audiometry and Visual screening.
  • HIV/AIDS certificate and/or experience.
  • Family Planning Certificate.
  • Registration with SANC/SASOHN.
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of driver’s medical.
  • Experience in the treatment of Injuries on Duty.
  • Dispensing license.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
