Main Purpose of Role:
As an Investment Associate, you will play a pivotal role in assessing funding applications, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic recommendations. Your responsibilities will include eligibility screening, commercial assessments, financial analysis, and post-investment monitoring. You'll also build networks, attend industry events, and provide mentorship to investees.
Experience / Skills Required:
We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in one or two of the areas: SME funding/deal making/ investment environment, business banking, venture capital environment and/or development finance. 3 years’ experience in managing an SME portfolio. You should have a good understanding of investment processes, deal structures, and commercial regulations. Strong analytical skills, PC literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with a postgraduate degree being advantageous.
