Internal Sales/Customer Order Processing Clerk

About the position

As a supplier of HVAC equipment, we have a position available for an experienced Internal Sales / Customer Order Processing Clerk.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Receiving, confirming and accurate processing of all Customer orders
• Verifying stock levels and pricing
• Accurately maintaining records of orders received, processed and delivered
• Assisting customers with telephonic and e-mail enquiries
• Creating quotations and pro-forma invoices for customers
• Obtaining quotes from courier companies when required
• Liaising with courier companies and completing of waybills
• Liaising with Dispatch department for deliveries and collections
• Assisting walk in customers with collections
• Full switchboard function

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 5 years relevant work experience in a similar capacity

(preferably within the HVAC industry)

• Contactable references
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Sage Pastel Partner
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy essential
• Strong organising, literacy, numerical and customer service skills
• Excellent e-mail and telephone etiquette

Must be able to cope well under pressure and adapt to change.
