Help Desk Technician - Network Operating Centre!

The number one goal of everyone in the team is to provide top tier support to clients. The Junior IT Help Desk Technician handles initial support requests for the IT Department that need to be handled. Escalating support requests as well as any projects that require on-site implementation.

The Position: We're looking for an efficient Junior Helpdesk Technician to be based permanently in Centurion. The pay range on offer is R8 000.00 to R10 000.00 Per Mont.
Own transport with valid drivers license is essential.

Essential Requirements:

  • Completed Matric - essential
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • 2+ years Helpdesk experience
  • Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email
  • Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
  • Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service - imperative
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support
  • Provide needed information on IT products or services
  • Keep record of problems and their resolution
  • Follow-up with customers
  • Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
  • Maintain technical documentation and service catalogue on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
  • Suggest improvements on procedures
