About the position
We are looking for a someone that is highly skilled and experience in corporate Strategies to join our clients as the Group Head of Strategy and Transformation. This role is crucial in driving the strategic direction of the company and leading transformation initiatives to ensure the Group remains competitive and innovative in the retail industry.
Key performance Areas
- Develop and drive the overall strategic planning process for the Group in alignment with the company's purpose, vision and goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and industry research to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define long-term strategic priorities and key performance indicators.
- Oversee the implementation of change management programs to ensure successful adoption of new strategies and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Desired Skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 8-10 years in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting role
- Strong understanding of retail operations, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation projects, including digital initiatives and organizational change.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
