Financial Manager

About the position

The responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Managing the entire financial function of the company including processing, analysing and reporting
Creditors and debtors' management
Cashbooks
Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts
Inventory management, stock counts and consignment stock
Accruals and provisions
Monthly management reports
Perform month-end and year-end accounts closure process
Year-end adjustments and facilitating audit requirements
Cash flow management
Budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant legal requirements
Ensure all reconciliations are completed and paid timeously
Ensure all statutory returns are submitted and paid timeously (SARS VAT, EMP201, EMP501 etc.)
Processing of monthly payroll and weekly wages
Insurance
Fixed assets

Requirements:
Completed BCom/BCompt Degree in Accounting/Financial Management
Sage Pastel Partner
Sage Payroll
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel advanced) Outlook, Word
Excellent knowledge of Accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws
Strong financial processing, analysis, reconciliation and reporting skills
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances
