About the position

• Manage Electrical Engineering projects and deliver them on time
• Develop Engineering solutions per identified customer needs
• Ensure the installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
• Perform detailed Electrical Designs for Electrical Systems (MV, LV & Solar PV)
• Management of Technical Team ensuring execution of all solutions according to designs and customer requirements
• 10 years and above experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering environment (Electrical, Control & Instruments)
• 7-10 years and above hands on experience utilizing Design and calculation software for LV and MV equipment
• 5 years experience with completed Electrical, Control & Instrumntation Engineering Projects
• 3-5 years Onsite commissioning experience
• ECSA registered as a PR Eng
• 2-3 years experience for Solar PV Designs and commissioning for Commercial, Industrial and Microgrid solutions
• 3-5 years experience for management of Technical teams

A Midrand based Engineering firm is hiring an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the Development and management of Engineering Solutions for Electrical MV & LV and including Control & Instruments for the Industrial Sector. The requirement will also be for Commercial & Industrial Microgrid Solar PV Solutions. The Engineer will work on multiple projects.
