Debriefer

About the position

Our client is looking for a Debriefer that will join their company.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Debriefing of POD’s and ensure all details are captured on the access system and record the driver delivery manifest on the debriefing report and sent to all relevant individuals (rectifications and claims to be debriefed and reported to Team Leader).
• Debriefing of returns (Full & Part) as per the SOP and ensure that debriefing report is completed accurately and that failed delivery invoices are endorsed by the customer.
• Ensure that the correct parcels are scanned back and coded correctly on Freight ware and noted on the debriefing report.
• Ensure that the customer failed deliveries and deliveries are sorted correctly to be handed to the Hub, Bookings department or to the query cage awaiting authorization.
• RLOG freight ensuring that all freight returned has the proper paperwork attached when pulled into cage, making sure that it is followed up on daily and that all freight authorized freight processed accordingly.
• Debriefing of problem POD’s, ensuring that the driver’s delivery manifest is recorded on the debriefing report as well as in the POD rectification book.
• Report all debriefing discrepancies (i.e. wrong combination of loads, incorrect loading, drivers with consistent RD’s, drivers with consistent problem POD’s and claims and all problem related issues).
• Ensure that all debriefed returns to RLOG are debriefed with correct reason codes, after debriefing parcels are locked in query cage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Basic knowledge of freightware
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills
