About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A top cloud CRM and Contact Centre solutions company in Southern Africa would like the expertise of a CRM Build Engineer who will create, develop, and keep up CRM solutions using the Odoo Framework. You'll need a Tertiary Qualification and ideally a Programming Certificate in Python.
DUTIES:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain CRM solutions, leveraging the Odoo Framework and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build and customize CRM functionalities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
- Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and procedures to support CRM operations.
- Integrate CRM systems with external applications and APIs, such as contact centres and Asterix.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of CRM-related issues.
- Stay updated with emerging CRM technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in Python programming.
- Proficiency in the Odoo Framework with 3-4 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong command of MS SQL and XML.
- Extensive knowledge of web technologies and JavaScript.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Experience with CRM systems and their implementation (3-4 years).
- Understanding of Odoo Apps and their customization (3-4 years).
- Exposure to contact center solutions.
- Basic understanding of Asterix is desirable (1-2 years).
Education:
- Required: Tertiary Qualification
- Bonus: Programming Certification
