JOB PURPOSE
To directly manage construction site contracts

ROUTINE TASKS KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:

• Effectively plan and manage contract delivery
• Effectively manage all commercial requirements and opportunities
• Effectively manage marketing and business development
• Effectively manage contract budgets
• Effectively manage quality, plant and equipment
• Effectively manage contract staff
• Effectively manage contract administration
• Effective self management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
B Tech or BSc in Civil Engineering. 8 years' relevant site management experience on major construction

Professional Membership
SACPCMP - fully registered or PMP

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Wide experience as a Contracts Manager in a similar environment
• Sound knowledge of site environments and workflow requirements
• Good technical knowledge associated with site construction requirements
• Advanced management skills
• Computer literacy
• Some Microsoft Office skills
• Sound knowledge of all Construction Industry legislation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and people management ability
• Sound knowledge of general construction conditions
