About the position
The overall purpose of this position is to manage current channel sales and to increase sales, recruit new channel partners whilst developing the Cape Town and other surrounding areas. Requirements for this position include: Soft Skills required: Areas of responsibility include:
Matric
Other qualification in sales
Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power Point)
5 + years selling experience
Excellent Track Record within the IT industry
Own reliable vehicle
Sales Experience of Auto ID equipment and Point of Sale solutions would be advantageous.

Manage and develop existing key accounts aiming for an annual growth of 10%
Develop designated territory and recruit new channel business partner
End user development in key vertical markets
Develop & execute monthly and quarterly sales plans
Time Management by prioritizing high-value sales activities

Achieve and overachieve sales targets
Attending relevant training sessions and continuously developing sales skills
Market Knowledge & Trends: must be up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Identify technology related trade shows in the region, and attend relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand network and generate leads.
Collaborate with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and technical support to understand product roadmaps, assist with sales strategies, and to provide customer support.
Provide product demonstrations and carry-out regular training sessions to ensure business partners are fully informed on the auto-id solutions offered by the company
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: update customer information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, provide regular sales pipeline reports to the management team, and provide sales forecasts to help with business planning and decision-making.
Foster a customer-centric approach which strengthens customer relationships through excellent communication and timeous resolutions of issues or escalations.
Assist in stock management as required
