CCTV Technician

About the position

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.
• The CCTV Technician will collaborate with clients to ensure that their surveillance needs are met and will provide technical support as necessary.
• The role requires proficiency in CCTV technology, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills
• Must have a driver's licence- will be using the company car to go out to clients.
• Must have a certification - Grade 12 and IT or any Technical related certificatio
• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and updating the hardware on surveillance equipment.
• Configuration of networking equipment.
• Configuration of wireless links.
• Cable installations.
• Inspect sites and talk to clients to determine security requirements.
• Perform service and installation of CCTV systems and Intrusion Alarms.
