About the position

DUR002111- ACCOUNTANT – EAST LONDON
 
Purpose of the job:
To assist the Financial Manager with various tasks in the Financial Department.

Required Qualifications

  • BCom Accounting Degree & Completed Articles
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years Post Articles experience
  • Must have Caseware or Sage Pastel Experience

Technical Competencies and responsibilities
Assist Financial Manager with various reports where necessary
  • Ensure that all company secretarial administration and changes are in place
  • Monthly review of general ledgers
  • Monthly review of management accounts
  • Responsible for ELP billing
  • Review and maintenance of company insurance policies
  • Assist with the rollover of various templates at year end
  • Preparation and report back of project budgets for various entities

 
Behavioural Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Integrity
  • Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Conflict management
