Warehouse Supervisor at Famous Brands

About the position

Introduction

To monitor warehouse process and ensure no production delays or stoppage due to shortage of raw materials

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure daily turnaround time figures are calculated and handed to Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure finished goods entering the warehouse correspond with production book daily
• Ensure warehouse freezer doors are kept closed when not used.
• Report warehouse capacity daily and flag risks to the Warehouse Team leader before they become an issue.
• Ensure KPI's are filled-in accurately and timeously - Daily.
• Check and sign forklift checklist daily.
• Yard management.
• Stock taking and investigations.
• Daily production tracking.
• Manage receiving and dispatching of stock in and out the warehouse.
• Supervise warehouse personnel.
• Ensure warehouse charts are updated daily.
• Manage housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Manage issuing and control of raw materials from warehouse to production.
• Supervise microwave thawing and ensure minimum stoppage.
• Manage opening and closing stock on both raw materials and finished goods (reconciliation).

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 and a relavant tertiary qualification
• Valid driving certification to operate forklift
• 2 years' experience in meat processing environment.

• Excellent communication skills
• PRP /GMP/ HACCP knowledge
