What you will be doing:
- Facilitate all required Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
- Coach the Development Team on self-organization, cross-functionality, value creation, and estimation.
- Remove obstacles and impediments hindering the Development Team's progress.
- Ensure the Product Owner understands how to manage and arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Lead, coach, and plan the organization's understanding and adoption of Scrum, including empirical product planning.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
- Experience in a customer-facing or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and other Agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- A servant-leadership approach.
- Situational awareness and conflict resolution skills.
