About the position
Senior Operations Executive
My client is looking for a dynamic leader from the freight and logistics industry to join a top supply chain organisation operating across multiple African regions. This senior role reports directly to the Managing Director and oversees regional General Managers and Business Development Managers. You'll drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across the business.
What you'll do:
Lead and align operational and commercial strategies across regions
- Oversee performance of regional teams, fostering collaboration and excellence
- Standardise processes, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance
- Manage key accounts and business development initiatives
Required Skills:
5+ years senior leadership experience in freight, logistics, supply chain, or related industries
- Proven track record in commercial and operational leadership
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Experience in shipping operations, port management, or African markets is a plus
