About the position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pipe fitting: Ability to measure, cut, and install pipes for high- and low-pressure refrigeration systems.
• Welding: Proficiency in oxygen and acetylene gas welding
• Brazing skills: Brazing copper tubing-common in refrigeration systems.
• Leak testing: Perform pressure and vacuum tests
• Assembly line experience: Working knowledge of production environments and quality control.
• Tool use: Safe operation of saws, grinders, torches, pipe threaders, etc.

Desired Skills:

Desired Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years Plumber, Pipe & Steam Fitting

Desired Qualification Level:

• Grade 12 / Matric

About The Employer:

Our client based in Maitland is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder for their refrigeration system production line. Candidate must be proficient in, welding (oxygen and acetylene), and assembling copper piping systems. Must demonstrate high attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment."

Minimum Requirements




- High School Diploma or GED
- Trade Tested.
- Must have at least 2-5 years Pipe Fitting/Welder experience
- Must be Physically Fit.
- Drivers licence and own car will be advantageous
- Attention to details.
- Problem solving and Time management skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
